Terms of Service

Your use of yourbeerfriend.com and any related offerings ("Service") is subject to these Terms of Service ("Terms").

ELIGIBILITY: THESE TERMS ARE A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND Your Beer Friend. PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. You must read and agree to these Terms before using the Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

THE SERVICE IS FOR PERSONS 21 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER. YOU MAY NOT USE OUR SERVICE IF YOU ARE UNDER 21. YOU MAY NOT PURCHASE FOR, PICK-UP FOR, OR SEND A DELIVERY OR SHIPMENT TO ANYONE UNDER 21.

1. PURCHASING A CRAFT BEER SUBSCRIPTION BOX

YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO PURCHASE A CRAFT BEER SUBSCRIPTION BOX.

Your Beer Friend makes no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import beverages containing alcohol. By placing an order, you authorize Your Beer Friend to act on your behalf to engage as a common carrier to deliver your order to you from a licensed Alcoholic Beverage Retailer. All beverage products in the Craft Beer Subscription box are acquired by purchaser's consent through a licensed Alcoholic Beverage Retailer.

When you order, it is an offer to purchase from a licensed Alcoholic Beverage Retailer. The total purchase amount represents the actual cost of beverages directly acquired from a licensed Alcoholic Beverage Retailer plus additional service fee, delivery fee, packaging fee and live tasting fee as imposed by Your Beer Friend.

Your Beer Friend chooses to work only with partners (licensed Alcoholic Beverage Retailers and Breweries) that are independent and considered "Craft" beer as described by the Brewer's Association. We do not and will not engage with products, businesses, or breweries that incite violence, promote hate, or any kind of racial or social injustice. We will always do our best to promote breweries that embody social justice, equality, kindness, independence, craftsmanship, and community values.

2. DELIVERY / PICKUP

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to arrange for a person 21 years of age or older to be present at the time of delivery / pickup. Furthermore, it is also the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that said person is also of sound mind and body and in no way intoxicated at the time of delivery / pickup. In no instance will alcoholic beverages ever passed to anyone under the age of 21, left unattended at the delivery site, or passed to anyone who is not of sound mind and body or appears to be intoxicated.

If, during a delivery attempt no one 21 years of age or older is present, and no other arrangements have been made prior to the attempt, delivery will be attempted a second time. If the receiver is not present on the 2nd attempt, the receiver will have the option of picking up their package for 30 days after which, delivery will be attempted again in the next regularly scheduled delivery cycle in the subsequent month.

Title to, and ownership of, all beer passes from seller to buyer, and buyer takes all responsibility for the beer at the time of purchase. By placing an order, buyer authorizes Your Beer Friend to act on buyer’s behalf in arranging for transportation of the beer at the buyer’s direction as prearranged by delivery or pickup details. Buyer may also arrange for independent shipping.

Deliveries occur at the beginning of the month. All customers will be notified of a delivery window with ample time to make other arrangements. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to make sure Your Beer Friend has all delivery instructions (gate code, apartment code, telephone number etc...) in order to ensure delivery.

3. CANCELLATIONS/SKIPPING/REFUNDS

There are no membership fees and no contracts for the beer subscription box. Customers may cancel at any time using their online account or by emailing us.

Customers may skip any month, at any time, at any increment by emailing us.

All sales final. Your Beer Friend does not accept refunds of any purchases. An exception will be made in the instance of damaged goods.

Once your card is charged for the upcoming month, you have 7 calendar days to receive a full refund. Once beer has been delivered, all sales final.

4. BILLING

Billing for the craft beer subscription box occurs on the 15th of the month.

5. SELECTION

The contents of the beer box are curated and selected based on freshness, seasonality, deliciousness and awesomeness. The box may contain items that have lactose, meat, nuts, or other allergens. No substitutions can be made.
