Beyond Repair
Riwaka is the hop that most defines that “NEW ZEALAND” hop flavor.
Riwaka, first farmed in 1997, was originally an offshoot of Czech Saaz hops (earthy, peppery hops used in pilsners) but this hop has double the amount of oils and smacks of passion fruit, grapefruit and citrus. It’s a bold hop for sure and one of every brewers favorites when they can find it.
