Tepache Seltzer
Part 2 of 2 in our Low-Brow vs. High-Brow hard seltzer comparison.
To the best of my knowledge, this is the first (and only) “Farmhouse Seltzer” in the world. This is Cellador’s insanely noble attempt to elevate the hard seltzer game, by using their in-house Farmhouse Ale yeast strain to ferment a combination of pineapple juice, brown sugar and honey and the result is absolutely phenomenal. Drink it straight from the can so you don’t lose the sparse bubbles that are present from the natural carbonation in the can. If this is the direction that seltzers are going, I’m excited to see what else Cellador starts fermenting.
